God’s Passionate Love has been poured out in us, His redeemed, believers in Christ!
The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)
Amazing grace!
We are to walk in love
Be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. (Ephesians 5:1–2)
We are learning to walk in His love
God promised to make us more like Christ, whose nature is love. We are becoming more loving. (Romans 8:29)
God promised fruit, including love, through the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23)
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22–23)
Those are facts as well as our responsibility.
We are to abide in His love
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. (John 15:4)
We are commanded to love
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39)
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:34–35)
Let us pour out God’s love to others.
